Scaling an AI Monitoring Product from B2C to B2B

Context
Ola Care is a health-tech company building AI-based monitoring software for older adults. I joined as product designer and stayed close to three years, long enough to work across all three surfaces (web dashboard, mobile app, marketing site) and to design through the company's shift from an individual-family product (B2C) to a facility-focused one (B2B), which meant adapting core features, including the routine-monitoring table, to work at a completely different scale.
The problem
Ola Care already had a live product an iOS app and a web app and needed someone to maintain and keep evolving both. Partway through my time there, the company shifted its go-to-market from B2C (individual families monitoring a parent at home) to more B2B (facilities and care providers monitoring many residents at once), which meant adapting core features to work at facility scale rather than single-household scale.
My Role
I designed across three surfaces: the web dashboard, the mobile app, and the marketing website, shipping new features, improving usability of key flows, and adapting the product as Ola Care expanded into B2B. I also produced supporting content (presentations, motion content, product materials) and worked alongside contractors (content writers, 3D designers).
Process
Routine & activity monitoring table adapting for B2B. As Ola Care expanded from individual family use toward facilities, monitoring needed to scale from tracking one resident to tracking many at once. I designed this across three iterations: 1. A plain grid — rooms as rows, dates as columns — showing raw event counts per cell ("2 events," "0 events"). Functional, but staff still had to interpret raw numbers to know if anything needed attention. 2. Replaced counts with a status indicator per cell a check for a completed routine, a cross for missed, an amber flag for partial or missing data so staff could scan an entire floor in seconds instead of opening each room individually. 3. Feed Settings let staff define each routine (name, required events, schedule window), and Areas of Interest let them draw the exact zones the camera/AI should watch per room so the system only flagged what actually mattered, not every motion event. Together, this took facility staff from manually checking each room's camera feed to scanning one table and clicking directly into whatever needed a closer look. Dashboard optimization. Redesigned the analytics dashboard to reduce ambiguity around alarms. It's a statistics view showing clients' key metrics at a glance, I grouped related patterns together, made alarm entries clickable for more context, and simplified the hierarchy so reading the data required less interpretation. Website design. Designed the landing page for European and US audiences, with the goal of properly presenting the product and setting up a new lead-generation funnel. Presentations, motion & product materials. Created supporting content and coordinated with contracted content writers and 3D designers to keep materials on-brand and consistent.
